How Can I Get Involved

In addition to attending Sunday morning worship, there are a number of ways to get involved at All Saints

Altar Guild

The Altar Guild prepares the altar for worship services on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. The Guild provides a unique and vital way to get involved.

Church School Teachers

All Saints has a strong history of educating children through its Sunday School Church Program. Our program runs on the generous time of parents volunteering to teach twice per year. With more parents, we have a richer program. If you would like to teach, contact.

Church Gardens

All Saints has some of the most beautiful flower and vegetable gardens in Hoboken. With gardens at 7th and Washington, and at 6th and Willow, we have plenty of space for volunteers to assist in keeping our grounds beautiful.

Following our services, we offer light snacks and refreshment. A team of volunteers is assigned each week, and they coordinate to provide coffee, juice and bagels. Each team is assigned one Sunday per month, and we always need additional volunteers.

All Saints has many outreach opportunities, including volunteering at the Jubilee Center, the Hoboken Homeless Shelter, and In Jesus’ Name Food Pantry. If you have a spirit for outreach, we have a ministry for you.

Ushers and Greeters

Our ushers and greeters are the first point of contact for parishioners and visitors on Sunday morning. They also assist in the liturgy. We encourage you to consider this great ministry.

During each of the worship services, members of the congregation read the first lesson and assist in reciting the Psalm. Lectors of all ages are always welcome.

All Saints has a media committee that works to find ways to connect with the wider community as we try to be present to the community online through social media. If you have skills in this field, and would like to volunteer your gifts,

Hoboken Shelter volunteer night

Members of the parish are invited to prepare and serve dinner at the Hoboken Shelter each third Thursday of the month. The event goes from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Each month a different parishioner will be a Project Coordinator overseeing the volunteers. To become a volunteer or to find out more information on how to get involved with the Shelter,
